Renatus is a first name of Latin origin which means "born again." In some Spanish speaking countries, the name has taken on a different meaning: as a contraction for Rey (king) and Nato (birth), it has come to mean "born a king."

Renatus is the lite/censored version of BiM remake manga. Please expect some scenes to be blacked out and some dialogue to be toned down. This was done to reach a wider range of readers. The original UNcensored version will be released at a later date.

Background of the Manga:

Since the author is an avid fan of the manga/anime Fairy Tail (and got most of her inspirations from it), she originally created this manga as an entry to a contest where Hiro Mashima (the mangaka of Fairy Tail himself) was a special judge. She created this manga to target Mashima and his audience, thus the ecchi and action content. Sadly, she didn’t make it to that contest because of internet issues on her end and on the deadline of submission.

Anyway, this manga is a remake/revamp version of a story of the same title the author worked on 4 years ago (before she even had a graphic tablet). She wasn’t satisfied with the quality of her very first manga so she thought of reworking on it with the permission of the original writer, TenkoSama9. She then added more characters, details and depth to the plot aside from revamping the art style.
